The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) advances NHD San Diego's mission through active student involvement. We organize peer mentorship programs and workshop series, helping students develop strong National History Day projects while fostering a meaningful learning experience.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to fostering leadership skills and creating volunteering opportunities while promoting excellence in historical research. Through National History Day participation, we empower students to understand how past events shape our future.
