Our Mission and Purpose

We are the San Diego Youth Leadership Council, a dynamic student-led organization dedicated to fostering excellence in historical research and leadership development. Through our comprehensive program of events, mentorships, and workshops, we empower students to excel in National History Day while building valuable leadership skills.

Our Impact

As active participants in National History Day, we understand the challenges and opportunities that come with historical research. Our peer-to-peer mentorship program and targeted workshops provide valuable support to students throughout their NHD journey, helping them develop critical research and presentation skills.
